1. Who this policy is for
This Non-User Privacy Policy describes how WPPBX handles personal information about individuals who have not themselves used the WPPBX Partner Network, but whose information we receive through a user, a partner or a third party. Examples include:
- A contact person named in a partner’s application who did not submit the form themselves;
- An end customer whose details a partner sends us for provisioning;
- A person whose name, email or phone number appears in a contact-form message addressed to a partner.
If you are a direct user of the site, the Privacy Policy applies to you instead.
2. What data reaches us about you
Typically, one or more of:
- Name, business email, business phone, job title;
- Employer name and country of operation;
- Content of messages in which you are mentioned.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (for example, health, biometric or racial/ethnic data) about non-users through this site.
3. Where we receive it from
We receive this information from:
- Partner applications and profiles, where the partner names a secondary contact;
- Contact-form submissions where the sender references another individual;
- Communications from partners or customers in the ordinary course of business.
4. How we use it
We use non-user personal information only for the purpose it was provided to us — for example, to liaise with the named contact at a partner, or to help a partner respond to an enquiry that references you. We do not use non-user data for marketing.
5. Legal basis
Under the GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests in operating the partner network and servicing the partner or customer relationship, balanced against your rights. Under POPIA we rely on corresponding lawful processing grounds.
6. Your rights
You have the same data-protection rights as any data subject under applicable law, including access, rectification, deletion (where applicable), objection and complaint. Email [email protected] and reference that you are a non-user of the site.
7. Retention
We retain non-user information only for as long as needed to serve the partner or customer relationship that introduced it, after which it is archived, anonymised or deleted in line with the Retention section of our main Privacy Policy.
