1. Purpose

This Usage Policy applies to everyone who uses WPPBX services, including visitors to the partner directory, partners, customers and their end users. It exists to keep the platform safe, lawful and reliable for everyone.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use WPPBX services to:

  • Break any applicable law, regulation or court order, including telecommunications, data-protection, consumer-protection, export-control and sanctions laws;
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights or trade secrets;
  • Harass, defame, threaten or stalk any person; promote discrimination or violence against any group;
  • Distribute malware, phishing content or unauthorised surveillance tools;
  • Scrape, bulk-export or redistribute partner directory data without written permission;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation;
  • Bypass or disable our security controls, rate limits or anti-bot protections.

3. Telephony-specific rules

WPPBX is a PBX platform; some uses of our services are regulated in most jurisdictions. You may not:

  • Originate calls or SMS that violate applicable telemarketing, do-not-call or robocall laws;
  • Spoof caller ID for deceptive purposes;
  • Fax, SMS or call emergency services, government hotlines or premium-rate numbers to cause harm, disruption or fraud;
  • Use the platform for traffic pumping, access stimulation, toll fraud or international-revenue-share fraud;
  • Carry traffic whose CLI does not accurately identify the originating party.

4. Security and abuse

You must take reasonable care to keep your credentials and systems secure. In particular you must:

  • Protect administrative passwords and API keys;
  • Rotate credentials promptly if compromise is suspected;
  • Co-operate with our security team during incident response.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, where necessary, suspend or terminate access with or without notice, remove content, block IPs or numbers, and notify authorities. Repeat or egregious violations may result in permanent termination of the partner or customer relationship.

6. Reporting abuse

To report abuse or suspected abuse of WPPBX services email [email protected]. We respond to verified reports within 1 business day.
