WPPBX Pty Ltd (Registration No. 2026/314638/07), trading as WPPBX. Referred to below as “WPPBX”.
1. What this Form Does
This form lets you exercise your right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”) under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (South Africa) (“POPIA”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions, in respect of a contact-form submission you made on partners.wppbx.com.
Submitting a request does not immediately delete your data. A member of our privacy team verifies the request (typically within five (5) business days of receipt), checks that the verification criteria are satisfied, and then permanently removes the matching records in accordance with section 5 below.
We will confirm completion of your request by email from [email protected].
2. Who this Form is For
This form is intended for website visitors who:
- Submitted a contact-form message to a WPPBX Partner through the Site;
- Submitted a “Become a Partner” application that was not approved;
- Were named in a contact-form message by another person, and now wish to have that reference removed.
If you are a currently-approved WPPBX Reseller, this form is not the appropriate route — see the yellow notice above. If you are an end user of a Tenant operated by a Reseller, please contact that Reseller in the first instance, as they are the data controller; WPPBX can assist as processor where the Platform’s involvement is required.
3. What Gets Deleted
On successful review, and for the email address you provide, we will:
- Permanently delete all contact-form submissions that reference that email address as sender or recipient;
- Anonymise the personal fields in any unapproved Partner application tied to that email address. The application record itself is retained in an anonymised form for audit purposes, as permitted by applicable law;
- Remove audit-log entries that identify you as a submitter, except where retention is required by a specific legal obligation.
We may retain a minimal record confirming that a deletion was performed (without the deleted personal data itself) for regulatory and integrity reasons.
4. Submit your Request
5. Processing Timeline
We acknowledge requests within two (2) business days of receipt and process valid requests within thirty (30) days of acknowledgement. Complex requests may take longer, in which case we will inform you of the expected timescale and the reason for the delay.
You will receive confirmation by email from [email protected] when your request has been completed.
Where we are unable to comply with your request in whole or in part (for example, because data is required to be retained by law), we will explain our reasons and advise you of your right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.
6. Your Other Rights
Deletion is only one of the rights available to you. Subject to applicable law, you also have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances;
- Receive your information in a portable format;
- Withdraw any consent you have given;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in South Africa, the Information Regulator; in the EU, the Data Protection Authority in your country of residence.
To exercise these rights, or if you have any questions about this form, email [email protected].
